 Women Crowned in Glory: Safe PassageMiss California Latina joins Safe Passage in an effort to provide support for women and children in need. Safe Passage is an emergency center that provides safety and support for battered women and children in Los Angeles. The organization is a division of "Women Crowned in Glory," an outreach spearheaded by author, model, beauty consultant and spokeswoman, Trish Steele, to all women who are in need of encouragement, direction and resources to pursue their God given destiny.
Safe Passage offers domestic violence prevention and assistance in empowering women to repair the damage done to them from abuse and to also stop the destructive cycle. The organization helps each woman to create a positive self-image and new life for herself and for her children. Through this assistance, she receives healing services for her body, soul, and spirit.
Miss California Latina is proud to support this wonderful organization and its efforts for the advancement of women in need. As an official charity affiliate, Miss California Latina will assist in highlighting the needs of the organization partnered with our outreach efforts.

 Kids Enjoy Exersize NowKEEN is a national, nonprofit volunteer-led organization that provides one-to-one recreational opportunities for children and young adults with mental and physical disabilities at no cost to their families and caregivers. KEEN's fosters the self-esteem, confidence, skills and talents of its athletes through non-competitive activities, allowing young people facing even the most significant challenges to meet their individual goals.
The Miss California Latina supports KEEN Los Angeles with its volunteer services. We work on volunteering our time with the children as well as work to bring awareness to the organization.
